This is a beautiful hand built log cabin. It is built of logs dated back from the 1800's. This cabin was hand built by the owner, David Thomas, and his family in 2010. The cabin is located on the property of the owner and is nestled in a patch of trees, providing a very peaceful and relaxing setting.

We are David and Phyllis, both born and raised in the area. My husband is self-employed and I work part-time in an orthopedic office. We have a son, daughter, and three grandchildren. We both enjoy the outdoors and this area has so much to offer with The Virginia Creeper Trail, Barter Theatre and many great restaurants.

My husband built the cabin over a three year period, initially as a guest house on our property. In 2011, we began renting it out and it has been a great experience. We love the area and feel it has so much to offer our guests.
